Bike Tour Glatt Route
This cycling route from Glattfelden, in the north of Zurich, to Rapperswil follows a path along idyllic riverbanks through Zurich’s suburbs.
Along the idyllic banks of the River Glatt, cyclists make their way unobtrusively through the urban areas of Zurich, passing under concrete motorway bridges on the way. Afterwards, the route follows the reed-covered shores of the Greifensee, then gradually gives way to the rolling countryside of the Zurich Oberland.
Now only small streams interlace the former marshlands. After presenting a wonderful panoramic view, the trail leads down to Rapperswil, the Town of Roses, on Lake Zurich.
